My first crime novel, DEAD IN DEVON, set in the Dartmoor town of Ashburton, was published by Allison and Busby in June 2019. It was my own meandering career path, first as a teacher, then as an artist, astrologer and dabbler in antiques , which led to the creation of my heroine, Juno Browne, amateur sleuth and reluctant antique-shop owner, and her eclectic selection of friends. Since then, eight more Juno Browne novels have been published, with the latest 'How to Get Murdered in Devon' out in hardback.
I live in Devon with my husband. Very recently we decided to move to the scene of all my crimes and now live in Ashburton. When I'm not writing I am actively involved in amateur theatre as an actor and director. I also enjoy cooking and gardening.
Book no 10, 'A Dartmoor Christmas Card Murder,' is due for release in 2026 and I am gearing up to start work Juno No. 11.
